Tips & Info
What are music royalties?
It’s the money the song writer and song record earn from various sources.
These sources come from the business concern made with the song. That could be to exploit the copyrights, by transferring, lending or even selling one or all of the five (5) bundles of exclusive copyrights, subject to certain exceptions and limitations. In return for these licenses, grants, assignments, and/or sales, the copyright owner receives monetary compensation called “royalties”.
